Existing red meat industry SoT registries.

Red meat industry registries provide a data service model to access the "Source of Truth" for a type of entity or object. Some registries are used across multiple industries and sectors.

Registry data services accessible via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) are critical industry infrastructure that need to be integrated into an organisation's software systems for validating entities and objects related to supply-chain transactions.

Registries may be public or may require a registration process. The registered search or validation services use the registration process for capturing and logging the search or validation activities to ensure compliance with usage terms and conditions, and for blocking access when usage violations occur.
